That was the theme at the final salvo for Michigan House-Austin 2017 at South By Southwest, with Local Spins hosting an afternoon roundtable discussion with musicians from Michigan and Texas — along with Billboard music writer Gary Graff — on Tuesday afternoon, followed by an evening showcase at the Stay Gold nightclub starring a half-dozen emerging acts from the Great Lakes State.
