The 20-band Jammie Awards spectacle wasn’t the only example of diverse live music on display on West Michigan stages over the past week.
For proof, take a gander at this week’s photo gallery roundup:
• Grand Rapids/Lansing psychedelic indie-folk and Americana outfit The Wild Honey Collective entranced fans with an eclectic set at SpeakEZ Lounge in Grand Rapids on Wednesday, with country swing’s Dee Sutton opening the special Local Spins Jammie Awards Pre-Show;

• Folk-rock’s Lone Bellow — touring behind a brand-spanking new album, “What a Time To Be Alive” — unfurled a 90-minutes-plus set at Bell’s Brewery Eccentric Cafe in Kalamazoo on Thursday (with country artist Fabrizio opening), performing several songs acoustically around a single microphone;
• In Grand Rapids on the same night, Grand Rapids post-hardcore band Riot Punch electrified fans at The Pyramid Scheme with a boost from Lucius Fox, Tiberious and Swandrive;
• Glenn Phillips of Toad the Wet Sprocket headlined the second annual “Guiding Light Love” benefit at St. Cecilia Music Center on Saturday — a benefit for Guiding Light Works programs assisting those struggling with addiction — with Michael Crittenden, Ralston Bowles and Louise Coombe playing a story-driven, songwriters round-robin to open the show (video below);
• On Saturday night, emerging country star Kameron Marlowe revved up fans at The Intersection in Grand Rapids.
