Labor Day weekend signals the unofficial end of summer 2015, but it also marks the beginning of Local Spins on WYCE’s second year of showcasing the local and regional music scene.

And with an in-studio performance by Kalamazoo indie-folk duo Thunderbolt & Lightfoot, aka Phil Barry and Sarah Fuerst of The Corn Fed Girls, and the radio debut of new songs by Blue Water Ramblers, Rick Chyme, Kim VI & The Siblings, Jesse Ray & The Carolina Catfish and Jimmie Stagger, it was a fun-filled hour to start that second year.
