Free and open to the public, summer concerts can transform a leisurely day in the park into a lively community event.
For 2017, artist lineups in West Michigan boast a variety of popular regional acts including Lindsay Lou & the Flatbellys, Olivia Mainville & the Aquatic Troupe, The Crane Wives, The Soul Syndicate, Union Guns, Jesse Ray & The Carolina Catfish, Brena and dozens of others.
Grand Rapids retro-rock/pop veterans The 6-Pak have a busy summer ahead, with appearances at summer concerts in Sparta, Walker and Wyoming among others.
“We love the family-friendly atmosphere and watching people from all generations enjoying life together as one big community,” said drummer Cindy Obetts. “We also like the casual setting of being outdoors enjoying the weather and getting to do what we like most.”
