With the likes of Luke Bryan, Shania Twain, Zac Brown Band and Dustin Lynch, last weekend’s Faster Horses festival in Brooklyn, Mich., was a country music party unlike any other.

It was billed as “the party of the summern and the decade,” and for many country music fans, it most certainly qualified as that.
With Shania Twain, Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band, Dustin Lynch, Billy Currington, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Hailey Whitters, Megan Moroney, Conner Smith, Pillbox Patti, Lauren Watkins and others in the house at various times over the weekend, Faster Horses 2023 put a lot of stars in the saddle at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Mich.
Much of the weekend skirted the rain and storms, with crowds slightly smaller than normal but every bit as enthusiastic, many participating in themed outfits of the day (red-white-and-blue, luau, back to the ’90s).

Dee Jay Silver’s late-night set on Saturday night included a “Happy 10th Birthday” celebration for Faster Horses, with Brian O’Connell (father of Faster Horses) promising great things for 2024.
Shania Twain, who staged an impressive show, also sang “Party for Two” with Billy Currington, insisting it was the first time they’ve performed the song live together since the song was released 26 years ago.
Ahead of Luke Bryan’s set, Faster Horses also staged a fireworks-style drone show that ended with a patriotic, Michigan-hued theme.
Local Spins photographer Eric Stoike was there to capture much of the musical action. Check out the robust photo gallery below.
