Hitting five Michigan cities in six days, a bevy of Earthwork Music Collective stars is playing uniquely crafted concerts across the state. All of the shows feature Nicholas James Thomasma, Mark Lavengood, Seth Bernard, Chris Good, Dede and the Dreamers (Dede Alder, Josh Holcolmb, Chris Michels and John Driscoll), Sam Cooper, Ralston Bowles and darlenYA, with Bill Chesney, Steve Leaf, Dan Rickabus, Max Lockwood, Sari Brown and Brandon Worder Smith also on board for the Wealthy Theatre show, and Leaf, Chesney, Smith, Joe Reilly and Allison Radell at Seven Steps Up.
The collaborative performances will feature various musicians backing each other up on songs each has written. As Thomasma puts it, “The arrangements have never happened like this before and they will never happen again. They will be different each night depending on who is on the show that particular evening, creating a truly unique experience every night.”

Legendary Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd has billed this as the “Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour,” hitting more than 50 cities by the end of the year. The band that’s sold more than 30 million albums and regaled rock fans with classics such as “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Simple Man,” “Gimme Three Steps” and, of course, “Free Bird,” is winding down its long and illustrious career.

The duo of Rob Garza and Eric Hilton has propelled Thievery Corporation since the mid-1990s. The Kansas duo of Matt Hill (producer, guitar) and Mark Hill (drums) returns to The Intersection while being hailed as “the undisputed kings of electro-funk.” Indeed, The Floozies‘ most recent album is titled “Funk Jesus” (released in 2017). SoDown and Wax Future are also on the bill for this 17-and-older show, with doors opening at 8 p.m.

Lecrae is a hip hop artist with a gargantuan following and an approach that leans on his Christian faith.
