But the 2016 edition of the three-day affair also gets a significant boost from celebrated Americana/newgrass powerhouse Railroad Earth, along with Luke Winslow King and Michigan faves The Crane Wives, Billy Strings, Airborne or Aquatic, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, The Accidentals and the Sweetwater Warblers super-group featuring May Erlewine, Rachael Davis and Lindsay Lou Rilko.
Organizers Jake Robinson said the Hoxeyville lineup announced today for the northern Michigan festival taking place Aug. 19-21 in Wellston represents a reinforcement of the format that’s made the 13-year-old event so successful.
“Just trying to keep it fresh,” he said, “and continue to build on the great Michigan music scene that has developed.”
Wristbands for admission to the festival are on sale now. The pre-sale price is $130 for adults, $40 for children 5-17 (free for younger than 5); a small RV pass is $40, large RV pass $100. Get tickes online here.
