There’s already a connection between the touring partners: relative newcomer-headliner Forrest Frank and the eclectic, worship oriented Elevation Rhythm.
“It’s our first time out with him, but we’ll be doing a song with him,” said Elevation Rhythm front man Josh Holiday.
That song is “Praises (Remix),” a tune that rings with the lead vocals of the pop/hip-hop Frank and the movement of Elevation Rhythm, racking up nearly 22 million listens on Spotify and 4.8 million views on YouTube thus far.
The tour stops at VanAndel on Monday (March 31). Tickets – $29.50-$119 — are available online here.
Released last year, the “Praises” collaboration became Rhythm’s second top Christian HOT AC radio single.

The medium-tempo song is tame compared to the rest of their repertoire. “I call our style ‘energy,'” said Holiday, who at 32 is the senior member of the youthful ensemble.
“Our team is diverse and we embrace everyone’s culture and style,” he offered. “But if you see us, you feel the energy of what we’re doing. Even on the slow songs, it still feels like you’re moving.”
Forrest Frank, in just his second national tour, is already playing arenas after exploding onto the national music scene over the past few years.
The Texas-based artist came up as an independent singer-songwriter-producer rather than through the traditional “record label/promotional” system. Several independent albums and online releases led to the breakout song, “No Longer Bound.”

His hip-hop sound is smooth – not as gritty as the faith-based rapper NF (Nate Feuerstein). Frank’s bright and more radio-friendly anthem “Good Day” is his biggest success yet and was nominated for a 2024 Dove Award in the pop/contemporary rather than rap/hip-hop category.
It helped shower him last year with Billboard, Grammy and Dove nominations and crested in topping the billion global streaming mark. Scroll down to listen to his 2025 single, “Sunrise.”
Elevation Rhythm is an outgrowth of the mega-sized Elevation Church in Charlotte, N.C., and performs regularly at its youth gatherings. It’s a sister group to the better known and more established Elevation Worship which has produced several modern worship standards.
In 2022, Elevation Rhythm opened for Elevation Worship at a Van Andel Arena concert at which church pastor Steve Furtick also spoke.
Holiday has written and produced music since his teen years, but took a break from music until after he became involved in Elevation Church. Five years ago, he stepped up to lead the newly formed group.
“The pastor (Furtick) asked me to help find the ‘sound’ coming out of the church and help cultivate it,” Holiday recalled.
Their signature song is “Goodbye Yesterday,” which emerged last year. They also offer their own spin on other contemporary worship songs. Their latest song, co-written by Holiday, is “Sing of Your Love.”
“We write our songs out of conversations our team has had or those we’re hearing about in our local small group,” he said.
