APRIL 24 UPDATE: Big & Rich (June 22), Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder (July 21) and Dark Star Orchestra (Aug. 9) have been added to the summer concert schedule at Interlochen Center for the Arts.

The way Interlochen Presents’ Brent Wrobel sees it, there’s nothing quite like experiencing a summer concert at Interlochen Center for the Arts’ Kresge Auditorium, on the shores of Green Lake.
“This means concertgoers get stunning views and cool lake breezes as they enjoy our beer patio or take in a show,” he said. “Just being at Interlochen is a truly magical experience.”
That magical experience for 2023 will include northern Michigan tour stops by diverse acts ranging from progressive bluegrass heroes Greensky Bluegrass and rock icon Elvis Costello to one-time pop idol Donny Osmond, prog-rock’s Styx, Motown’s The Temptations and The Four Tops and oldies faves The Beach Boys, not to mention buzz-generating acts such as Lindsey Stirling and The Lone Bellow.
“We try to offer a wide variety of acts, and have something for everyone to come out and enjoy,” said Wrobel, executive director of Interlochen Presents. “All proceeds from ticket sales help support student scholarships, so every dollar spent on a concert ticket helps a young artist transform their passion and potential into a purpose.”
With today’s announcement of appearances by Donny Osmond (July 24), The Lone Bellow (Aug. 17) and Tribute to ABBA (Aug. 18), Interlochen so far has revealed 13 summer concerts for 2023, with plans for “a few more coming soon.”
Interlochen hosted 17 “Arts Festival” concerts in 2022, along with its Shakespeare Festival. The center also features student performances throughout the year.
In addition to the 3,917-seat Kresge Auditorium, some events are held in the 1,049-seat Corson Auditorium.
