For “Motor City Madman” Ted Nugent, it’s been a week to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his classic, “Stranglehold,” with a run of several shows back in his home state, including Saturday’s packed show at Paw Paw’s Warner Vineyards (followed by tonight’s tour stop at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights).
For Florida post-hardcore band Red Jumpsuit Apparatus it was all about toasting the group’s brand new EP, “X’s for Eyes,” released earlier this week just ahead of a Thursday shot at The Intersection’s Stache in Grand Rapids.
And at Bell’s Brewery Eccentric Cafe in Kalamazoo, Friday was all about celebrating female-led bands with Michigan indie-folk artist Hannah Fae, jazzy blues/folk trio Mad Hat Mojo and indie duo Payton & Annabelle.
