The 16th edition of the popular Northern Michigan bluegrass and Americana festival will be headlined by Dawes, The Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon and Billy Strings, as well as highlighted by the One Night Stand Band featuring Greensky Bluegrass’ Paul Hoffman and David Bruzza, plus a likely appearance by Greensky bandmate and artist-at-large Michael Arlen Bont.
The family-friendly Hoxeyville festival — tucked away on 150 acres of sprawling land deep in the woods of the Manistee National Forest west of Cadillac and adjacent to the Pine River — will also feature return appearances from Larry Keel, Cadillac’s own Luke Winslow King, The Jon Stickley Trio, Airborne or Aquatic, Lindsay Lou, The Sweet Water Warblers and The Crane Wives.
Another returnee will be the Joshua Davis-fronted Steppin’ In It, which has recently reunited and been playing a slew of 20th anniversary gigs around the state this spring and summer.
In addition to two stages of music and traditional late-night picks in the woods, this year’s extravaganza will also include yoga and meditation workshops, a plethora of kids’ activities and new this year, the Women’s Red Tent Revival. Tickets can be purchased online here.
