Rolling out those popular tunes and more for an energetic and excited GLC Live at 20 Monroe crowd on Friday, the Tennessee-based indie-rock/electro-pop outfit made a Grand Rapids splash on its fall tour stop, promoting its brand new album, “Dark.”Meanwhile, just down the street, Michigan metalcore heroes, We Came as Romans from Troy, unleashed its thunderous roar at The Intersection — from “Wasted Age” to “Daggers” — with help from Emmure, Bodysnatcher and Archetypes Collide.
We Came as Romans kicked off the night with the title track from its 2022 album, “Dark Bloom,” and closed things out in the encore 14 songs later with “Black Home” from the same release.
That came a day after country music’s Lanco made its own splash at The Intersection’s Elevation, touring behind its latest EP, “Run, Run Baby.”
