Those are the elements that inspire the annual Local Spins Calendar and the 2024 edition could be the most brilliant, action-packed yet. It certainly boasts more photos of more Michigan bands and solo artists — 40-plus — than any previous calendar, with listings of more than 50 2024 Michigan music festivals.
We’ve long been proud of our impressive team of Local Spins concert photographers who capture the musical action on stages across the state week-in and week-out all year long, and we embrace the idea of showcasing their talents in print via the Local Spins Calendar.

We also love the idea of spotlighting a wide variety of Michigan artists — from emerging bands to veteran musicians — who comprise just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the state’s burgeoning music scene.
Not only are the calendars available online now in our Gift Shop for an inflation-denying $15, but they’ll also be sold at SpeakEZ Lounge during Local Spins Wednesdays shows on Nov. 22 (when Roosevelt Diggs performs) and Dec. 6 (when Vernon Potts and Common Molly perform), when you can save on shipping costs.
As usual, in the spirit of the season, $1 from each calendar sold will be donated to Access of West Michigan to support its anti-poverty programs and food pantries for needy families.
