Smiling Acres Music Festival 2025: Photos, Video

The fifth annual Smiling Acres Music Festival in Trufant sweltered in the heat during June 2025’s final weekend, but bands and fans alike reveled in the best-attended celebration in the festival’s brief history.

From bracing sets by Michigan favorites May Erlewine, The Go Rounds, Desmond Jones, Roosevelt Diggs and Erin Zindle & The Ragbirds (playing their final show with the group’s current lineup) to late-night DJ flings from John Nowak and a Lady Ace Boogie silent disco to a surprisingly explosive Saturday night fireworks display, it was a Smiling Acres fest for the record books.
