On Saturday, for about 50 people, that happened to be at Tamarack Camp in Morley, about 45 minutes north of Grand Rapids.
Cosmic Knot, The Smokin’ Dobroleles, Jesse Ray, Les Older and Beaver Xing were part of the cozy mini-festival organized by John and Dee Harvey (who also host the annual Tamarack Music Festival).
It was a backyard party atmosphere amid beautiful October weather, according to Local Spins photographer Anna Sink, with members of Beaver Xing handing out “gourmet-level dessert shots” to attendees and performing their engaging, passionate music between stage sets around the bonfire.
