Pitbull’s latest single is appropriately titled, “Party of a Lifetime.”
The Miami singer, rapper, pop and reggaeton artist certainly brought the party to Grand Rapids’ Van Andel Arena on Tuesday night, igniting a mega-high-energy show that had the jam-packed crowd dancing all night long — even bobbing to music played during breaks and between sets, with Australian hip-hop artist Iggy Azalea getting the evening started.
Cutting across all ages, with plenty of young fans on hand, Pitbull devotees included those rocking bald caps to emulate the singer’s distinctive look.
On his “Can’t Stop Us Now” U.S. tour, the Grammy Award-winning Pitbull, aka “Mr. Worldwide,” pumped up a Tuesday night with a bevy of his hits, including “Time of Our Lives,” “Give Me Everything” and “I Feel Good.”
“That concert is on my Top 5 list,” fan Stacey Blomeling posted on Facebook after the show. “His energy is hard to match.”
