Local Spins’ roundup of the past week’s musical action across West Michigan boasts opening nights for two outdoor summer concert series — Belle & Sebastian (with Haley Heynderickx) getting Bell’s Beer Garden in Kalamazoo fired up for 2024 and Kait Rose’s Fleetwood Mac Tribute lighting up a beautiful opening night for live music at Paw Paw’s Warner Vineyards.
Of course, there was much more, with Nothing More and Wage War’s metal, Eric Gales’ blues, Dirt Monkey’s dubstep and electronic beats, Satsang’s soul, The Marsupials’ funky rock and Pocket Watch’s jazz fusion to entertain music fans in diverse fashion.
