The popularity of the annual summer concert series at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park seems to know no bounds — though plenty of shows remain available to ticket buyers.
Tickets went on sale to members for 34 concerts at the 1,900-capacity amphitheater this morning (April 18), with 20,000 tickets purchased in the first 10 minutes, and the June 12 show starring Wilco selling out by 9:13 a.m.
By 11 a.m., the Aug. 28 concert featuring British folk-pop singer-songwriter Myles Smith (with opening act Michael Marcagi) had sold out, with 35,000 tickets sold across the board — about 55 percent of the total ticket inventory for the season.

By 11:30 a.m., tickets for Sierra Ferrell (June 8), Indigo Girls (Sept. 14) and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue (June 15) were on the brink of selling out.
Still, not nearly as many individual concerts sold out on the first morning of member sales compared to previous years. In 2025, 11 shows sold out in the first two hours of the member pre-sale. Some social media comments suggested market saturation with new venues online across the region mean that concertgoers have more choices about which shows they’ll attend.
“Things are going very smooth on our end, continuing the success that we’ve had since transitioning to AXS (ticketing),” said John Vander Haagen, Meijer Gardens’ director of communications.
Tickets are on sale now until April 23 to members at https://www.axs.com/search?endDate=&searchQuery=Meijer%2520Gardens&startDate= with a limit of six tickets per show. Any remaining tickets go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. April 24.
Alt-rock/alt-country band Wilco has long been eyed for the Meijer Gardens series, but this is the first year that promoter Chris Mautz has been able to land the coveted group. “It’s certainly one I’ve been wanting to get for a long time,” he told Local Spins. “It’s just the perfect fit (for Meijer Gardens).”
The band’s extensive spring and summer tour also stops at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre in Rochester Hills on June 13.
For 2026, Meijer Gardens member ticket prices range from $53 (The Wallflowers) to $117 (Jason Isbell), with non-members paying an extra $5 per ticket. Overall, the average ticket price for members in 2026 is $75.56 ($80.56 for non-members) – or $5.53 cheaper than the average for 2025.
