For New York hip-hop artist and pop singer Bryce Vine it was all about “Motel California” (his latest album) — but with a Michigan twist at The Intersection in Grand Rapids.
For California indie-pop/alt-rockers Wallows it was all about unfurling “Your New Favorite Song” (the band’s latest single) for enthused fans at GLC Live at 20 Monroe. (View the complete set list from Tuesday’s show at setlist.fm here.)

For electronic music’s ALLEYCVT it was about hitting the “Stratosphere” with audience-engaging strains, while country artist Tyler Braden made it all about either “Me or the Dawn” (with ALLEYCVT lighting up the main showroom at The Intersection and Braden packing The Stache on Friday).
Earlier in the week, Grand Rapids indie-dream-rock artist Brie Stoner — touring behind her latest EP, “Like a Man” — reveled in a homecoming show at The Pyramid Scheme with a boost from opening acts Mar in Color and Certainly So.
And hometown jam-band heroes Desmond Jones heated up pre-shows for Goose’s weekend stand in Grand Rapids with late afternoon romps at Founders Brewing Co.
