Welcome to the biggest summer concert series ever at the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park amphitheater.
Today’s announcement of 34 concerts in the 2025 series boasts first-time performers Wynonna Judd, Dinosaur Jr., The String Cheese Incident, Chaka Khan, Vance Joy, Rilo Kiley, Cheap Trick and The Psychedelic Furs, as well as returning favorites O.A.R., Lyle Lovett, Keb’ Mo’, Rick Springfield, Jason Isbell, CAKE, Trombone Shorty, The Revivalists and Umphrey’s McGee.
Michigan artists also are well represented this summer, with The Verve Pipe, The Crane Wives and The War and Treaty all headlining shows in the main Fifth Third Bank Summer Concerts at Meijer Gardens series, with the Grand Rapids Symphony joining The Verve Pipe, The War and Treaty and Guster for their appearances in the 1,900-seat venue.

The series kicks off May 30 with folk-rock faves The Head & The Heart, Futurebirds and Ann Graves, and closes Sept. 4 with indie-rock/alt-pop’s Rilo Kiley, the L.A. band fronted by Jenny Lewis that’s reuniting for a summer tour.
“We’re always striving for a nice mix of returning favorites and new acts, with the goal of providing a diverse, wide-ranging lineup that appeals to as many people as possible,” said John VanderHaagen, Meijer Gardens’ director of communications.
“We’re excited for how this year’s lineup turned out and feel like it’s a great mix of new, familiar and unique.”
One of those unique experiences: Colorado jam-band heroes The String Cheese Incident will follow up June’s Electric Forest in Rothbury with an Aug. 14 stop at Meijer Gardens. The series also boasts several intriguing double-bills: England’s The Psychedelic Furs with The Chameleons, progressive bluegrass band Leftover Salmon with The Infamous Stringdusters (and Kitchen Dwellers), alt-indie-rock’s Dinosaur Jr. with Snail Mail (and Easy Action), singer-songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter with Brandy Clark.
Tickets go on sale to Meijer Gardens members at 9 a.m. April 19, with sales to the general public starting at 9 a.m. April 26 via AXS.com/MeijerGardens – the same platform used by Meijer Gardens last year when some frustrated buyers experienced early ticket snafus that later were corrected.

“We have been working year-round with AXS to help ensure as smooth a process as possible and have several steps in place to help as many members as possible get tickets to the concerts that they want to see this summer,” VanderHaagen said.
“We wish that all members could get all of the tickets to every show that they want to attend, but unfortunately, demand far exceeds our limited supply.”
Buyers are encouraged to set up AXS accounts before tickets go on sale.
Member pre-sale ticket prices range from $43 for The Crane Wives on Aug. 28 and $50 for I’m With Her (Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz and Aoife O’Donavan) and Dinosaur Jr., Snail Mail and Easy Action on July 27, to $130 for Chaka Khan on June 4 and $135 for Smokey Robinson on Sept. 4.
Public sale ticket prices are $5 higher than member pre-sale prices.
This season’s average public ticket price for Meijer Gardens concerts is $86.09, 18.6 percent higher than last year’s average of $72.60.
It reflects an overall trend in the music industry. USA Today recently published a report showing that concert ticket prices across North America have reached an all-time high, averaging $135.92 per concert in 2024.
The Tuesday Evening Music Club series starring Michigan acts also will return this summer, with the lineup announced later this month.
