The word is finally out: The iconic Kalamazoo prog-bluegrass band will play and host a northern Michigan festival May 31-June 2, with more artists announced soon.

Greensky Bluegrass announced today that the inaugural Camp Greensky Music Festival will be taking place May 31 – June 2 on the Hoxeyville grounds in Wellston. The festival is being hosted by Hoxeyville Productions.

A limited allotment of three-day fan club tickets are available now via lottery at campgreensky.com. According to the announcement, these will be the lowest priced tickets available. Fans may enter the lottery anytime between now and 12 p.m. EST Feb. 15.
Lottery winners will be notified the evening of Feb. 15 and the general on-sale will begin at 12 p.m. EST on Friday, Feb. 16. All lottery tickets are adult general admission with camping. Kids will be offered a discounted rate during the general on sale, at the same time RV sales begin.
The Hoxeyville Music Festival will celebrate its 16th year on the 85-plus-acre site outside Wellston in the Manistee National Forest Aug. 17-19.
Greensky Bluegrass, a mainstay at Hoxeyville Music Festival over the years will be performing all three nights at Camp Greensky, and will also be hosting a small selection of hand-curated artists across the weekend. More information on the festival is expected to be announced soon.
Greensky has traditionally opened Bell’s Brewery Beer Garden in Kalamazoo each summer on that same weekend for the past 13 years. While the band has moved on from the garden, what’s next for Bell’s and the garden opener is yet to be announced.
The SteelDrivers are the only summer show to be announced thus far in the garden and will perform on June 8.
