Forest Trail Music Festival 2025: Photo Recap

The Aug. 22-24 Forest Trail Music Festival in Free Soil boasted a who’s who lineup of Michigan stars, including Myron Elkins, Hannah Rose Graves, Mark Lavengood Band, Candid Antics, Nathan Walton & The Remedy, Eric Engblade, Brother Crowe, Nicholas James & The Bandwagon, Justin Wierenga Trio, Seth Brown Duo, Travis Hyma, Alex Teller, Grace Theisen and more.

“It was one of the best years yet for Forest,” insisted photographer Jonathon Alfano. “With attendance up, sales, vendors’ success, expanded camping areas, workshops for adults and children, and jams all night with young musicians and Michigan’s favorite artist, it seemed like a slice of heaven for people of all sorts, color, gender, community.”

Singer Hannah Rose Graves called it “a warm and fuzzy family run festival, nestled in the swaying pines. It’s truly one of a kind. They work diligently every year to create a safe space for attendees and artists alike. The Cameron family makes up most of the staff, but everyone involved is an absolute gem of a human. Together they become a beehive with a system they’ve put in place that works seemingly seamlessly every year, from an artist’s perspective.”
