Rising pop star and Grand Haven native Børns is slated as the opening night headliner for Lansing’s Common Ground Music Festival July 5-8 at Adado Riverfront Park.

The lineup for the 19th annual festival also features pop singer Halsey, rappers Gucci Mane, Logic and NF, and country stars Kip Moore and Hunter Hayes.
Børns, originally from Grand Haven, first achieved national success in 2015 with the smash hit “Electric Love.” He is touring this year in support of his new album, “Blue Madonna.” This is one of only a few Michigan performances for the pop singer since he took his talents to Los Angeles.

From Lynyrd Skynyrd to Snoop Dogg, Common Ground has attracted some of the biggest names in music and accordingly diverse swathes of fans since its inception in 2000. Some 50,000 attendees are expected for four days of music on two stages in Michigan’s Capital
City.
Tickets for the festival begin at $29 for a daily pass and $89 for a four-day pass, and are available online here. VIP and discounted children’s tickets are also available.
Rounding out Common Ground’s diverse lineup are T-Pain, Kevin Gates, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Supa Bwe, Chelsea Cutler, Jessie Reyez, Denzel Curry, Smino, Sasha Sloan, London Richards, Cale Dodds, Judah & the Lion, The Aces and Vesperteen, with more to be announced.
In years past, the festival’s roster of internationally recognized artists has been balanced with up-and-coming regional acts.
