HYPED UP LIVE SESSIONS – Kougaran
June 16, 2020 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Detroit’s Premiere Livestream Concert Series, HYPED UP LIVE SESSIONS presents rock band Kougaran for Episode 27. This year our musical experiences will happen a little differently, but we can still have fun. Get your screens set up and your speakers geeked poolside, on the patio, in the garage, living room or camper, the choice is yours! After two shows done via Skype, and one with tracks, the first full band in studio post pandemic is a family affair. Siblings Niko (gtr/vox) and Gino Puzio (drums) along with their brother from another mother Dennis Selleck (bass) are Kougaran, a new generation of rockers with classic influences. The boys have opened up for many notable acts such as Autograph, Lynch Mob, Cheap Thrill and LA Guns over the past ten years, played multiple festivals, received airplay nationally, and are working on new material. In between all that they support causes through benefit shows for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Relay for Life, and programs to keep music alive in public schools. “These guys are so ready to perform. This lockdown has been tough for creative types,” explains band manager Jay Puzio, “we’re glad this gig was a go when so many others are in limbo.”
Bassist, Songwriter, Producer Tony “T-Money” Green has been providing Detroit musical artists with a small venue experience that gets a huge digital audience since 2018.
