Local Spins Fest 2024 Youth Poster Contest

Deadline Extended: Local Spins is looking for designs by young artists ages 12 to 18 that it will incorporate into its official poster for the 2024 Local Spins Fest taking place at Studio Park in Grand Rapids on May 18.

Know any young, talented artists? Spread the word and let them know about this unique opportunity to recognize and display their art.

We’re looking for full color, original designs by artists 12 to 18 that we can incorporate into our official poster that will be used to promote Local Spins Fest on May 18 and marketed at the event taking place at Studio Park in downtown Grand Rapids.

Here are the rules/requirements:

• Submitting artists must be 12 to 18 years of age, and only one submission per entrant will be accepted;

• The full color, original design should include “Local Spins Fest 2024” while incorporating our 2024 themes — “The Future of Michigan Music” and/or “Local Spins’ 12th anniversary” in some way;

• Any AI (artificial intelligence) assisted designs are ABSOLUTELY prohibited;

• Attach up to 3 files of the submitted work (entrants can include different views, closeups of detail, etc. if necessary) in one of these file types: .pdf, .png, .psd, .ai, .svg, .jpg (PDF is preferred) with minimum image resolution of 300dpi;

• Include artist name, age, hometown, school, description of medium used, email address and phone number;

• Images/entries must be submitted no later than noon April 5 to info@localspins.com.

The first place winner will receive a $150 gift card, Local Spins merch, two tickets to the Midtown concert of their choice and other goodies. The runner-up will receive a $50 gift card and Local Spins merch.
