The weekend started early with a piano prodigy and continued with soul, rock, pop, folk and a bevy of young, emerging West Michigan acts — plus Chilly, Blues & Brews. Check out the photos and videos.
It was a weekend boasting the full-band debut of a new Grand Rapids pop act, the 20 Monroe Live premiere of a locally produced Van Morrison tribute, the return of a 32-band indoor music festival at West Ottawa High School, the jaw-dropping talent of a 13-year-old piano prodigy, a Chilly, Blues & Brews affair and the electrifying performances of uber-popular Grand Rapids soul-rock and folk-rock bands, not to mention a showcase of bluegrass prowess in Kalamazoo.
