West Michigan’s pre-Christmas musical revelry had things jingling merrily from The Intersection to the lakeshore, shared in photos at Spins on Music.
Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat … and cranking up the tunes.

On the 10th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 10 lords a-leaping … and sliding across the stage.
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost … ripping it up on guitar.
While some folks were making the mad dash to the malls to purchase gifts that their relatives will return the day after Christmas, others were making the most of West Michigan’s musical holiday magic, including The Verve Pipe’s eighth annual (and perhaps last) Yuletide show at The Intersection on Sunday night, with AG Silver and Mark Sala and Christian VanAntwerpen also performing.
And there was plenty more where that came from, scads of great photos shared at Spins on Music. Check out the most recent Weekend Photo Gallery here (along with previous weeks’ roundups of live music).
Other bands and artists include Joe Sturgill, Paul Hoffman, The Weatherheads and Quadraphonic.

Why would say perhaps last? This show has a good turnout every year, they have a new CD coming out, why would say it might be the last?
Brian has said publicly that this may be the last Verve Pipe holiday show, that this pre-Christmas event has run its course. But that doesn’t mean TVP has run its course!
