Or, at least, it’s time to roll out the schedules for some of those free community concert series that dot the landscape across West Michigan, with a diverse mix of regional bands playing outdoors in front of big audiences who pull up lawn chairs and picnic baskets for weeknights filled with live music.
So far, Rockford, Lowell and Holland have finalized their summer lineups for 2015, with several more communities across West Michigan slated to announce their schedules later this spring.
Hannah Rose & The GravesTones open Rockford’s annual Rogue River Blues Series in June.
“We are more then thrilled to kick off the series,” says singer Hannah Rose Graves. “My deep blues roots have been itching to shine. The band has never been better. We are ready to light up West Michigan this summer.”
