Maryland alt-rock/jam band O.A.R. started its musical “revolution” two decades ago, celebrating this summer with a tour behind its “XX” anniversary album — a tour that later this month will stop at the acclaimed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado for a headlining show.
As part of that North American jaunt, the rock band on Thursday returned to Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park to thrill another sold-out, adoring crowd of 1,900 on a beautiful night, with Virginia indie-folk group The Hunts opening the show.
O.A.R. garnered a passionate welcome while rolling out classics such as “Love and Memories” and “Hey Girl.”
