He returned home over the holidays, not only performing on-air during the Jan. 6 edition of Local Spins on WYCE along with fellow Grand Rapids songwriter Michael Riley, but also hosting the first-ever “GR Song Swap” that same night at Tip Top Deluxe Bar & Grill. As he put it, the songwriter-in-the-round event was designed to get folks to really listen to the music that he and his musical friends have created.
