Well, the band is likely to have a huge audience tonight with more than 1,000 people expected to pack the nightclub for the 16th annual Jammie Awards where Mustard Plug and The Verve Pipe will receive Legacy Awards following a long night of award presentations and performances by more than two dozen bands. (The Verve Pipe will hit the main showroom stage at 10 p.m., Mustard Plug at 10:30 p.m.)
Kirchgessner and trumpet player Brandon Jenison chatted about Mustard Plug’s enduring legacy — after surviving the ups and downs of the music business — while chatting with host John Sinkevics during Local Spins on WYCE.
